Raccoons often walk in such a way as to leave a very distinctive track pattern. Usually the tracks are in pairs, with a larger rear print right beside a smaller front print.

 

This raccoon track pattern shows this pattern, although it is off a bit.

Close-up of a pair of front (left side of photo) and rear (right side of photo) prints.

The rear foot is much larger than the front.
