Algonquin Winter Tracking Expedition 2009

Friday (Day 6) and more

On Friday morning we ended the week with a skull identification workshop and a summary of the week's activities at the Algonquin Visitor's Centre.

I stayed on for a couple of days on my own (I also arrived a couple of days early). Here are a few photos from my before and after time.

A colourful male Evening Grosbeak.
Ice and light patterns.
A Grey Jay.
A nice set of fresh Raven tracks.
Ruffed Grouse.
I explored around a fair bit. Here I am away from any trail or road in a snowstorm.

And that's it for this year!
