Deer track in snow

A nice clear well-defined deer track in snow.

Here's what deer tracks look like when the snow has started to melt.

A well-used deer trail through the winter woods.

Deer tracks in deeper snow. Note the foot drag marks.

A nice set of deer tracks in mud.

A nice set of tracks in sand.

These tracks had me fooled for a while.

They're not actually Deer tracks at all!

If you cross-country ski, you will know them right away as the tracks left by cross-country ski boots!

A close-up of one of the above tracks.

"The trail never disappears. The only thing that disappears is your skill."
